Making a quilt so i don't spend all my time thinking about the wedding!
I'm finally making a quilt from The"Last-Minute Patchwork+Quilted Gifts" Book! I signed up for a workshop at Effiloché. The guy sits with me and tells me what and how to do the pattern. 
These are the fabrics that I chose for the colored part and I bought a purple burgundy as the background color. The Amy Butler fabrics aren't cheap but it's worth it. The whole quilt will probably end up costing about 80$. After this I'll know all the techniques and will be able to keep costs down. I wonder, if I work really hard in the next few weeks, if I can have it made by Rhinebeck!

There's a new addition to my collection of things on my kitchen shelf
That's right. Fresh dried beans from the farmer's market. Hope to make something good on the weekend with them. Maybe a stew or a soup! Any ideas?
